The scheme now comprises about two dozen plaques which have been erected in various parts of Wales. They are designed and made in welsh slate by the artist/craftsman Ieuan Rees. The Trust normally works in conjunction with local groups and individuals we are always pleased to consider suggestions as to which writers should be commemorated in this way.

The most recent plaques commissioned by the Trust are one to Tony Conran in the Library at Bangor University where he taught for many years and one in memory of George Ewart Evans at the house in Abercynon where he was born and bred.
